#12- 7/1001 Books for Trinity

We have been doing more reading lately because a) it has not been as nice outside lately b) Trinity sits for a longer time to read c) I am trying to get back into teaching mode

This week we read some books that were new to Trinity but not new to me:

My ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE Series of Picture books: Charlie and Lola books by Lauren Child

I don't have TV channels so I have never watched the show but I was drawn into the title of the first book Trinity and I read when I was on vacation in Banff. I hate tomatoes so I thought this book would be interesting. I fell in love with these books and have been slowly trying to collect them. I plan on ordering some DVDs (it's on my 101 list) for Trinity to watch because they are just great and they have really awesome messages set forth in a creative way. The pictures are incredibly unique too.

I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato by Lauren Child

I Am Too Absolutely Small for School by Lauren Child

Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister- Really sweet story about the joys of sharing with others.

Aaron's Hair by Robert Munsch- No great message here but a funny story. I love all the pictures and if you look through the pictures there are hidden jokes. Trinity can't understand them now but she liked all the crazy hair pictures.
